Adopt a Child's Education

Supporting a child's education is truly a wonderful way to take part in the Break Poverty Cycle initiative to change the face of children in developing countries such as Sri lanka!

Donors can adopt a child's education and make yearly donations to cover the expenses of tuition, books, notebooks and nutritional health supplements of their child. Donors are matched with a student and will receive periodic progress reports, photos and letters from the student(s). Yearly donations can be made either directly to the child's account or through Break Poverty Cycle bank account (HSBC 401920 72673509) cheques, bank draft or BACS.

Each year the management team of Break Poverty Cycle determines a scholarship amount sufficient to cover tuition, books, notebooks and nutritional health supplements. For the 2008-2009 academic year, scholarships are set at approximately Rs.19000 / 180 USD / 95 GBP.
